Axis Community Health provides medical care for all members of the community. Some of our programs are free. Others are available on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Immunizations
Axis provides comprehensive immunization services for children and adults.
Immunizations are available by appointment on weekdays during regular clinic hours at our clinics in Pleasanton and Livermore. Call (925) 462-1755 for an appointment.
Important Information
- Our immunization clinics are open to all Tri-Valley families, particularly those who are low income or uninsured
- Families enrolled in Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal Managed Care plans are also eligible
- There may be a charge for some immunizations
- Parents are required to bring their child's immunization record and any information they may have about family income and medical insurance, including Medi-Cal.
Drop-In Immunization Clinics
We offer Saturday Drop-In Immunization Clinics for children. These clinics are offered at our Pleasanton clinic from 9:00- 11:00 AM.

Obstetrics/Prenatal Care
The obstetrical service at Axis is under the leadership of Dr.
Scott Eaton and Dr. Michael Bleecker, experts in high-risk obstetric care. Patients in our prenatal program deliver their babies at
Valley Care Hospital in Pleasanton and Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley, which has a comprehensive birthing center and offers services in several languages.
Fees
Axis' Eligibility and Enrollment staff assists prenatal patients with enrollment in Medi-Cal or other programs that may cover the cost of prenatal care and delivery. Call (925) 201-6056 or (925) 201-6037 for more information and enrollment assistance.

 Well Baby Clinics, Saturdays July 26 and August 23, 2008, 9AM - 1PM, by appointment.Pediatric services for children of all ages include:

Pregnancy Tests
Pregnancy tests are offered at Axis' Pleasanton and Livermore clinics. Counselors are available to discuss test results. Pregnancy tests are free for income-eligible persons. Call (925) 462-1755 for more information.
TB (Tuberculosis) Tests
Axis provides TB tests for children and adults as a drop-in service Monday-Friday at both the Pleasanton and Livermore clinics. A return visit is required 72 hours after the test to obtain results. TB tests are $20.00 and must be paid for at the time the test is administered. Call (925) 462-1755 for an appointment.
Community Education
Axis Community Health offers a variety of educational services for the
community. Our health educators are available to make presentations to schools,
community organizations, churches, health fairs and businesses. For more
