Proposition 36 Program
Proposition 36 is a one-year drug and alcohol education program designed for first- and second-time non-violent drug possession offenders and consists of education sessions and discussion groups. The number of visits varies from two to five nights a week, depending on the level of treatment you need. The program also provides 12 weeks of aftercare support to help you maintain a substance-free lifestyle.
Remember:
- Proposition 36 is a county-supported program, and you must be referred by the courts to participate.
- Registration is required. Please be sure to bring the proper court papers.
- Enrollment in the Proposition 36 program is ongoing.
